If I go to edit a pending review, then hit "cancel" instead of submitting any changes, I end up seeing the old version of the "My fwfr" page. I've always assumed that this was a harmless bug. But I've realized that I actually really it. I can see a lot more approved and pending reviews on the screen at once with it. Any chance the users can have the option of seeing this for their regular "My fwfr" page?

I fail to see the point of that last post.

I think the issue was this post here:-

which, by stating that 'decent people' appreciated your original post, implies that those who read it and didn't appreciate it are 'not decent people'. As DT read your original post and didn't understand the point in it, he correctly assumed that he may be in the group of people you consider to be 'not decent people'. Perhaps this was your intent, or perhaps you were only referring to your best friend Salopian.

Oh, and my post here shouldn't actually be taken literally, what I really am implying is that everyone can ram it up their arse.

Oh, all right then....

Come on. You know full well that I have not suggested your original post was "out of line". It's entirely reasonable. I only wish I could say the same about your subsequent posts

As for putting smileys in the post, the point is on one level to try to defuse the situation, and on another to make it absolutely clear than nothing you are capable of posting will in any way upset me, whether that is your intention or not.

I'm having a great day, and thanks for caring!

Putting a smiley face at the end of your post doesn't make it any less insulting when you let us know who you find to be a "decent person," which makes it rather clear who you don't include in that category. Frankly, if you think suggesting a feature to benj is really that out of line, I'd prefer you say so rahter than "smile" at us while you make digs at me or anyone else that doesn't live up to your standards of netiquette. That kind of passive-aggressive BS is far more distasteful, as is pretending to be "surprised" someone would be taken aback when you've picked two fights with fourumites in less than a week.

Have a nice day.

Anyone can read this thread from the beginning and make up their own mind who, if anyone, is the source of any hostility.

The notion that my first post was intended to send some hidden message is, to put it as politely as I can, surprising and mistaken.

As can be seen above three people found it a helpful way to access the page quickly, which was exactly what it was intended to be, and all it was intended to be.

I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would choose to make an issue out of it.

Have a nice day now.

Thank you for posting this Whipper!

My pleasure.

Why do you feel the need to constantly pick fights with people on these message boards? I asked benj if it was possible to add a certain feature to the website because he's always been receptive to such suggestions, even if he doesn't guarantee he'll carry them out. Well, I'm sorry I didn't fawn all over you when you posted that link, your subtle message that I should do it my freaking self. I'm also sorry several people told you to cut the crap the other day when you tried to pick a fight with Sal...but don't turn on me now as an alternative.

I prefer the old one too, because I liked having two columns side by side, to see recent approvals and votes at a glance. However, the new look is fine and so I am not worried about having the choice in one's settings.

What's the difference between the classic look and this one...
http://www.fwfr.com/myfwfr.asp

You have more options on the new look, unless i'm missing something.

Ah...well, finding it isn't the issue. I could always bookmark the page, but I use the fwfr homepage as my bookmark on purpose: I want to see new reviews before I jump to the "My fwfr" page. My question was whether the customization options in "My Details" could include an option to see that as my default "My fwfr" page. So thank you, but that wasn't what I was asking about.

I fail to see the point of that post.

I think napper must have been under the strange impression that, once at that page by the route you described, you were somehow unable to copy and paste the link for yourself.
