Posted - 08/23/2007 : 11:54:04 Hi
I'd like to do an accolade which features movies that are known by the same [English-release] title but are NOT remakes and have nothing to do with each other. I'd prefer to restrict this to films which have already been released as opposed to any still in production.
I'm thinking of films like: Them! 1954 and Them 2006
Crash 1996 and Crash 2004
Kicking and Screaming 1995 and Kicking and Screaming 2005
The Naked Witch 1964 and The Naked Witch 1964
Sonia 1986 and Sonia 2007
Love and War 2006 and Love and War 1899
Many thanks for other suggestions.

By the way, you will need to be quite picky over this one. Put any likely single word into the I.M.D.B. and you often get multiple result. (I tried Danger as a test and got three.)
Yeah ... this one may have to grow by the degrees of time I can devote to it!
But BIG THANX for your help!

Joan Crawford starred in two unrelated films called Possessed, in '31 and '47.
Million Dollar Legs ('32 & '39) & Million Dollar Baby ('41 & '04).
Harold Lloyd's The Milky Way and Luis Bunuel's.
There are three called Lola--Fassbinder, Demy & Donner (sounds like a law firm).
Thanks again Lemmy-the-Eagle-Eyed
