Hi all
I'm compiling one of my succulent accolades and would love your help. This one features people who kill using unusual weapons. Such as:
Shoot 'Em Up - carrot
Bad Inclination [Cattive inclinazione] - metal set square
Texas Chain Saw, Fargo - chipper, cattle prod - No Country for Old Men
etc
No tv, docos or shorts please. I'm not counting unusual ways of murder - such as pushing someone out of a spaceship, or using a karate chop. The murders must be committed with some item external to the murderer which is normally not used for killing - so no unusual guns or knives or poison applied to something.
But your suggestions are very welcome.

Thinking of the propellor in Raiders, was that murder? Indy was just fighting him. |

I'm wondering why no one thought of these before:
In the Harry Potter movies there are several unusual ways people died.
Also, I'm sure that despite a deluge of swords and arrows, certainly someone in one of the Lord of the Rings movies died in some more exotic way or another. |

Just did a quick check on the DVDs
The Bourne Identity is almost correct: Bourne does indeed fight with a ballpoint pen, and incapacitates the victim. However, said victim then gets up and throws himself out of the window.
LW3 was the movie I also had in mind, but Lethal Weapon 2 is the correct one. Danny Glover is rebuilding his house after the toilet bomb, and gets attacked by the South African heavies, (which led to this review).
Vote pimping? Probably.
Shameless? Never.  |

So - let's say the new criterion is that someone could hypothetically be put on trial for murder using unusual weapons external to themselves. This may also serve to cut down on the plethora of horror films.
I realize that if someone's in a fight and kills the opponent with an unusual murder weapon - that could be classed as self-defense. But if the fight was intended by either victim or perp to be a fight to the death -- so that someone was going to die anyway - then I guess it's legit in terms of this acc. I know it's stretching a legal point, but ...

And speaking of dildoes -- can anyone remember whether the Droogies actually kill Miriam Karlin with one or does she die from the fight?
IF we get up to 50 I'll chang the name of the acc to 50 Murder Weapons? so it doesn't get too unwieldy.

Sorry to say, but I think you're far from done on that accolade- we've barely touched on the long history of elaborate kills from horror films and the James Bond series 
Also, I'm not sure Fargo should count- the woodchipper was simply used for disposal, not the actual kill
