It's been a while since I was an Executive Producer on international websites for a global company which was since bought out. So my figures may not be 100% accurate.

But it may be interesting to note that highly experienced web and net programmers like benj can command some hefty fees out there in the market. We're very fortunate indeed that he devotes so much unpaid time to keeping fwfr one of the best sites online with some of the most admirable back-end facilities around.

Freelance programmers and inter-relational database designers can contract out for 500 - 1000 a day, depending on the complexity of the task and whether or not an all-in job fee has been agreed on.

How much would you pay to hire benj to solve your online problems?

Feel free to thank me too for all my unpaid proofreading of the site, and everyone else who uses their specialised skills in all their different ways to improve it.
