I just had an "Over four words" rejection for a review in which all of the words are uninflected non-compounds. And by all of the words, I mean all two of the words.   |

Since then I have had six reviews rejected for the same reason (all unambiguously within the word limit); the MERPs' sense of humour is obviously as well developed as their judgment and sense of fairness.
