Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Lemmy in for #789.

In the 1924 version of Edith Wharton's The Age of Innocence Elliott Dexter plays the bright and able lawyer/socialite Newland Archer.

Well, being a cornfed Hoosier girl, it seems only fitting that my FYCTH this week should cover Sunday's upcoming Super Bowl scoreboard. All these are films about da foosball.

Notes:
1. A prominent and funny exchange involves Richard Kiel announcing his intent to break someone's neck, which he proceeds to do, brags about it and then the announcer reiterates that. Cracked me up at the drive-in the first time I ever saw it.
2. Sandler's mother, Kathy Bates, dismisses the game as da foosball. Loved that too. In fact, I've absconded with the word for myself.
3. The T.C. Williams High School in Virginia and its football team are integrated for the first time.
4. One of the better parts of The Replacements is the inclusion of a dance number to I Will Survive, fronted by Orlando Jones.
5. The star football player is named Boobie Miles, who falls and buggers up his knee that took him off of the team.

Spoiler here and in the fourth review for The Christening (Chrzest): the main character is drowned by his best friend after the event. All my reviews linking the two senses of godfather were rejected, for some reason.

In theory a spoiler for The Rite in the fifth review, but not really.

In Die Hard with a Vengeance, McClane must race around in a cab to disarm bombs spread all over NYC.

I read a good article the other day: Are Christian Bale, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Viggo Mortensen the New Method Men?

So it seems. I've seen the early early morning newscasts and its chock full of things to do. I'd love to be up there listening to some of the bands that are appearing all weekend. Would love to hear Gym Class Heroes. Ah well, I've got my satellite and with my luck, I'd get mugged. Besides, I've seen Madonna, though I'd hang out on the corner hoping to er, stumble across Ryan Gosling.

It was a good article, though I haven't thought of Christian Bale in the same category as Day-Lewis or Mortenson. Perhaps I owe him a rethink.
