Tonight I watched a 2011 film, listed on IMDB as a television series with 2 episodes. It's called "Appropriate Adult". When they showed it on my cable, it was shown as one film with no episode break or tv formatting. I'm not sure on this one, normally, I'd add it, but it feels a bit sketchy to me. It was a curious film. Any imput is appreciated.

It is a marvelous piece, isn't it.
But no, I wouldn't add it. Technically it is a mini-series.

Mini-series reworked into 2 1/2 hour film. It's just as well. Nothing clever came to mind on first look, though I liked the story. Engrossing. |

The UK found the whole West case fascinating and horrible. Every new twist, of course, screamed out of the tabloids as each was revealed.
So, the series might have also been "tabloidized." But good ole' British telly presented a non-exploitative and brilliantly acted examination, that actually did help us reach some form of understanding. Not excuse. Understanding.
The series won major acting BAFTAs this year, and won lotsa other t.v. awards internatonally.
