I have to admit that I have two more I like:

"Boleyn for concubine." for Anne of a Thousand Days

and my highest vote getter:

"Jew-rues-Salaam Jokes!" for Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World


(I wonder if that last one might not get higher votes if people would read it faster - so that "Jew-rues-Salaam" begins to sound more like "Jerusalem" - which was my intention!)

Stagecoach: Ford mesas with Maupassant. [film is based on a Maupassant short story called Boule de Suif; John Ford transplanted it to mesa territory - i.e. he "messed" with it]
