Sen Says: Eight entrants last time... let's keep it going.

--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
--> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
--> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
--> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
--> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
--> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at noon FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Hot hot hot!

Animated Russian pooches Belka and Strelka predated the more famous Laika into space. Apparently.

Marvin Hamlisch wrote lotsa stuff including A Chorus Line, whose hit numero was One Singular Sensation.

Frank Zappa first produced the lovely Alice Cooper

As with so many conflicts, it's decades and more before true tales emerge of human sacrifice, abuse and vanishing

In Under the Skin, the voluptuous Ms Johansson arrives from space to Glasgow ... to paraphrase Ed [Hulk] Norton's warning: don't make her hungry, you won't like her when she's hungry.

Lemmy in for #1016.

The Pleasure Seekers is Jean Negulescos remake of his Three Coins in the Fountain this time set in Madrid, not Rome.

Wind from the EastWTF was my reaction to this when I saw it over 40 years ago. Jean-Luc Godards collaboration with the Dziga Vertov Group mystified many who were familiar with his earlier work. Italian actor Gian Maria Volont was featured.

R.P.M.--progressive professor Anthony Quinn finds himself in the middle of a stormy university student revolt.

One of the films is about a forty-year relationship. Tribute to a famous noncentz review.

Cultural attitudes, for example that Saudi Arabian girls shouldn't ride bikes, tend to feed back into propogating themselves.

Metegol is a fantasy adventure revolving around fuball.

Who is Dayani Cristal? tells heartbreaking stories of desperate immigrants dying while crossing the U.S. border.

Been a bit of a busy week for me, I'm late... but I'm here. (p.s. [matt] 5/5)

It was the year 2000...

NB:
Marc Singer directed the documentary "Dark Days" about the homeless community in the New York subway.
"Sexy Beast" involves a bank heist and a particularly unpleasant gangster/nightmare rabbit creature.
"Chopper" Read cuts his own ears off.
Scott Glen plays a mountain climber in "Vertical Limit", Michelle Pfeiffer stars in "What Lies Beneath".
