Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt Seán Sez: Easter pun - rise and shine
--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. --> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. --> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. --> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. --> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. --> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at noon. FWFR time, whichever comes next.
Springing ahead, glancing back.
Don't forget to stop & smell the flowers: > In this latest version, Vincent Cassel's Beast obsesses about Lea Seydoux' Belle
> In Chef, a failed restauranteur opens a less salubrious venue for the sake of his fractured family
> Meanwhile, a century ago, Mabel Normand played Miss De Rock opposite her frequent co-star Charles Chaplin
> Mirror No 4 splices together footage of some royal events of the 1920s
> Edna Purviance was one of the most popular stars the world has ever seen. In this film, as Joan, she and her sister prove the old music hall song: all the nice girls love a sailor! Uh-oh! |

Take some love, add some craft, put them together and what do you get..?
Tentacles.
NB: The 2005 "Call of Cthulhu" is shot in the classic silent movie style. The deformed and deranged Giorgio is the titular "Castle Freak". Sandra Dee stars in "The Dunwich Horror". In "Necronomicon" H.P. Lovecraft takes the ideas for several of his stories from the infamous book. |
