Demonic is completely correct on this. The system here is not to use whatever is the most common title "in English" (which would nearly always be the American one), though we do use the American or other verified English title if there is no British one. It's all discussed earlier in this thread.

That doesn't seem to be an especially relevant basis for making an exception in this case, but perhaps Benj will read your post and feel differently. |

I've just discovered that this was apparently released in the U.K. as The Wild Boy, although I have never heard that title before. I don't want to change it, but am highlighting it in the interests of consistency. |

I recently discovered that this had an English title, so I reimported it and changed it; however, someone has since changed it back to the French one, for some reason. |

And they've done it again! |

And at least twice more since my last post. Plus I've just noticed that another title has also been changed from the English one for at least the third time. What's going on? I seriously doubt that demonic is doing it, and I don't get the impression that Benj is doing it either. Benj, have you given title-changing powers to someone else, who has no idea which titles should have precedence here?

This has happened many more times since with the same film. It is clear, therefore, that a rather malicious person must have been given this right. |

Elle s'appelait Sarah is listed on the site as Her Name Was Sarah, a literal translation of the French, but is actually known as Sarah's Key in English-speaking countries.
