Very nice. You could even amend it to "Movie mogul > Movie star" or "Movie mogul becomes star".

I did think about both of those. But I felt that ' > ' if understood as a mathematical operator would make the review inaccurate, and I wanted to use the full title for both fwfr status designators. Thanks, though.

True re " > ", but then randomly interpreting " : " as a mathematical operator (ratio of x to y) would also obscure the meaning. If you want to reflect the statuses as exactly as possible, then only the "Movie"s should be capitalised.

Five newbies, but of some pretty old films. I'm goin'...
~~~Old School~~~
Some explanations:
Metropolis The original Sci-fi film. Plot revolves around a robot-duplicate of the films heroine, Maria, and how she is eventually thwarted in her evil plans. And although this is a silent film, think "The Sound Of Music".
The Scarlet Coat Stars Cornel Wilde & George Sanders. Now, that was sufficient for my pun, so the plot involving a spy who uses a coat to hide his identity was just gravy. Chicken gravy.
I Want To Live! As mentioned elsewhere, having all reviews of a film with this title attributed to 'Please Kill Me Now' just seemed to upset the order of the universe. So I added this one. In the film, Susan Hayward plays a convicted murderer sentenced to death.
Cool Hand Luke Way before he was nominated for 238 Oscars (estimated), Randy Newman produced several wonderful albums. Among them was "Little Criminals" which spawned the classic "Short People" track.
Mom & Dad Save The World Back in the 60's sitcom theme songs would be used to explain the premise of the series. Think of "Gilligan's Island" or "Beverly Hillbillies". Another much shorter-lived example explained the story of a man whose mother was reincarnated as an automobile. 'A 1928 Porter, that's my mother dear. She helps me through everything I do and I'm so glad she's here'. If these lines strike a chord in your memory, then I need mention only that this film stars Terri Garr. If not, this review will go way over your head.
Five for the road
Pleasant surprise this morning with votes for my take on that one Irish guy. In "Tuesdays with Morrie", a dying man is played by Jack Lemmon (great book, by the way). And you could be the first on your block to vote for Lady MacBeth's demand for "Assassination of the Dog".
