NB: Spoiler here (but not implicit in the review) for "The Murderer lives at Number 21" - it turns out that there are three murderers working together. "Le Plaisir" is made up of three stories adapted from Guy de Maupassant. Walerian Borowczyk's four "Immoral Tales" are sexually suggestive or explicit. "Conte" is the word for "tale" in French. A vegetarian undergraduate on her first weeks at university gets a taste for human flesh in "Raw". In "Summertime" a farm girl forced to hide her sexuality at home finds a new confidence, and girlfriend, on arrival in Paris in the 70s.
