Okay. Back on track -- TitanPa.
My fave all time of yours is your Ranson review.
But, I'd already voted for that one, so I'll mention these two new ones of the new ones I voted for this time around:
"Hopelessly devoted to Zu(ko)." for Grease.
and
"Older School" for Old School 2.
Nice reviews.

GHcool. You had a lot of reviews in the higher numbers that I had already voted for, so I had to dig deeper. But, I found some that needed my votes and here are two new ones I really, REALLY liked:
"Christmas, but before Christmas" for A Flintstone Christmas.
Yeh, what's that about
and
"Acting's Pitt's Achilles' heel." for Troy.
How true. But, I don't mind watching him try to act.
Nice work.

Yeah, that's one I really liked too. However, you misquoted it. Its "Christmas, but Before Christ." This refers to the era in which "The Flintstones" takes place (B.C.). |

Moving on to ChocolateLady.
I've just recently gone through your pages. So, I dug a little deeper and found some neglected (or new?) reviews that needed my vote.
Here are two new ones, I found:
"Not Fonda, Quaid version" for Yours, Mine and Ours (2005).
and
"Sandal set change neighborhoods" for The Ten Commandments.
Nice work, ChocolateLady.
Thanks!

Oh, can you explain your Mansfield Park review to me? I'm not smart enough to get it. And I love Jane Austen.
Sorry it's taken me so long, here, guys (and a few gals). I will get through the whole list. Eventually.
EM :)
Just saw this - sorry.
There have been reviewers that have noticed that in this version of Mansfield Park, in certain parts, there are some subtle references to lesbian tendencies on the part of some of the women - Mary, in particular. Combine that with the US TV show "The 'L' Word" and you get my review.

Oops! My bad. It's even better the way you wrote it.
Funny.

Hmmm. Never noticed. I'll have to watch that one again.

Koli -- you'll never top your About Schmidt review in my mind. But, I went back through your pages and saw some more reviews I hadn't given the proper voting attention before.
And here are the two new ones I wanted to mention:
"Disabled topiarist sadly misunderstood." for Edward Scissorhands.
and
"Wife after death" for Corpse Bride.
Nice.

Em, you're very kind. I knew someone had been giving my reviews a going over, and guessed it was you.
And thanks for highlighting three of my personal favourites from my stash. In all modesty, if I saw the Scissorhands review and didn't know it was mine I'd vote for it. Actually, that's not modest. Conceit is what it is. |

Hi Paddy C.
Don't think I've gone through your pages before. Long overdue. Although, I did see some that I had voted for previously, catching them on the film pages or whatnot.
Here are the two of yours I wanted to highlight:
"Carrey de-fib-ulated." for Liar, Liar. Funny, funny.
and
"Nicholson's breakfasts sound precarious." for A Few Good Men. I like reviews that are a part of the movie, instead of just puns. Although, I like the puns, too.
Nice reviews.

Aussie Canuck. What can I say about Aussie Canuck that he hasn't already said about himself. Tee hee.
I guess I haven't been to your pages for awhile. And I have no explanation, except for the fact that I am too self-absorbed to care about anyone else's reviews when it's not a special occasion. Just kidding.
But, there were a whole heck of a lot of great reviews that were lacking my vote. So, fixed now. Ta!
And here are two that really made me chuckle:
"Spartacus very popular name." for Spartacus
and
"Spaghetti Eastern" for Seven Samurai
Wish I'd thought of those; they're THAT good.
Hold on, lemmy, I'm getting to you.

Just got finished going through Lindsey K's reviews. It was a couple of day's exercise, because I've been kinda busy lately. But, I have to say I am now a big, BIG fan of Lindsey's work.
Very funny, observant fwfrs.
Here are two I'd like to share:
"Feldman peaks at twelve." for Stand By Me.
and
"Jim replaces flute permanently." for American Wedding.
NICE!!!!!!!!!!!! I encourage others to go visit Lindsey K's pages if you want a chuckle or two, or three, or four.
I'd do that link thing, but I don't know how.

Hi lemmy --
Went through several of your pages. I had to dig deeper, since I had already voted for many of the top vote getters.
Here are two that I particularily liked this time around:
"Beatrix slaughter" for Kill Bill: Vol. 2.
and
"Lucky stiff wins lottery" for Waking Ned -- or as it was titled in the states -- Waking Ned Devine.
Nice reviews.

Sean. Sorry, can't do the accent thing.
You congratulated me on another thread, which, darn if I can find it now. But, I wrote your name down. So, there.
Took a look through the reviews and found quite a few lacking my vote. Fixed now.
And here are two that made me laugh.
"Phoenix receives free cremation." -- for Ladder 49.
and
"Write Club" for Adaptation.
Good work, man.
EM :)
