I have to say I noticed the slow down in activity three or four weeks back when I made an effort to clean up a dozen accolades requiring one or two more reviews to complete, and most of them are still in my TBA pile, taunting me...!
Knowing there are people out there with 100+ reviews pending doesn't make me feel so bad though. In the last two days three or four more have gone through, so at least I know I'm not being ignored.  |

Yeah, it was a multi-million pound promotion by the UK's biggest snack manufacturer. Oddly enough, given the money involved, it still wasn't enough to mention where they got the concept from. All the legal folks I spoke to at the time told me it'd be too expensive to approach them about it and that I should just accept it- it'd come and go and that'd be the end of it. And then the following year, they did the same promotion all over again

No complaints from me about the reviews processing!
I have a popular site for Quarter Horse owners and each year, I host an online horse show. People enter with photos or digital video of their horses and a panel of judges selects winners.
It is a very complicated and long process and lots of work to manage.
It is further complicated this year by my decision to proceed with a long overdue recoding of the site.
I have been receiving many complaints from show partcipants, asking WHEN will the results be posted????
The most pesky exhibitors are Dutch ladies. (This makes me feel oddly sorry for bife, somehow. ) |

thanx MERPS! i was beginning to think i did something wrong. i had no activity for a few days: no votes, no approvals, no rejections. but i've been blitzed with 11 approvals today and yesterday, with a couple of new ones getting unsolicited votes. thanx again.
