I reckon Carrey could potentially do a great job in the role. The least well-suited J.C. to play J.C.?

Jackie Chan.

(Although... he'd be great in the scene where he tosses the traders out of church)

Maybe he's not too well known outside the UK, but all this talk of J.C. and Terminator stirred something deep in the back of my mind. One of those dark corners no one should visit.

Julian Clary is The Terminator.

Julian Carey is The Terminator.

I'm guessing you mean the adorably smutty Julian Clary

We could, of course, go for a more radical choice:
Julie Christie is either a deity or The Terminator!
