"Two Barons, a deejay, a counselor and a sergeant walk into a post . . ."

Notes:
"Munchausen" starred Python Eric Idle.
"From the Hip" starred Brat Packer Judd Nelson as an attorney.
Louis Gossett, Jr. had a rather . . . memorable IMPACT . . . on Richard Gere in their karate fight in "Officer"! (I'm sure all the guys remember!)

Five for the new week

Notes:
Kurt Russell, of Escape from New York and Escape from LA fame, stars as MacReady, one of two survivors of a "thing" attack in Antarctica

Hoosiers, about a Cinderella tiny school state basketball championship team, is based in Indiana (where I live), where farming is of major importance. There was a tourism theme that went "There's more than corn in Indiana," but all Hoosiers know that basketball is more important. (And no, I'm not going to tell what a Hoosier is, it's a state secret that you take an oath to protect when you become a state citizen...)

Manhunter was an early Thomas Harris film that starred William Peterson in the role that Ed Norton played in Red Dragon.

Bruce Willis is the voice of Mikey, the baby in the story.

Men in Black says that Dennis Rodman, a flashy over the top basketball player, is from another planet.

Here's his link
He will return to examine your handiwork

Josh already did this (and then deleted his post). I thought he said he'd need it for #251 and not for #250.

Uhm ... well here's his post:

G'day folks,
I'm just updating my FYC but I'm about to head of on a 5-day camp with 66 Grade 6 children. (What's that? 66-6... I'm doomed!)
Sorry back on track... I'll be away for FYCTH #250 but I'd appreciate it if someone would pop in my link on Thursday. I'll even leave some bonus votes for the considerate person who enters me first... that didn't come out quite right but I'm sure you understand my intentions.
Thanks,
Conan the Camper

I can see there's room for confusion -- but I suspect he meant Monday, which would be correct for the FYCTH #250 he knows he'll miss. I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone, and will leave my post up there so Conan doesn't miss out on any votes.

Okay, but in all fairness, Conan should probably be thanking Josh as well, since Josh was the first one to post Conan's link, but because I was confused (remembering the "Thursday" bit) Josh deleted his post, which he put up right after his own.

Hey! I didn't do this for votes! If Conan bungs all his votes to JTC, that's okay by me.

I think this is the link you wanted:

http://www.fwfr.com/user.asp?id=8158

(And I wish I could have helped with more than one review, but I'd already voted on all the others.)

I've just voted on all Yukon's reviews. Since I liked them, I actually did not feel that dirty doing it.

As I understand it, he meant Thursday. Since he won't be around for FYCTH #250, his link should not be here since he cannot view others' FYC entries (necessary condition to enter into FYC). He will be back in time for v and v on FYCTH #251 but he wanted someone to put in his link as he may get access to net only on a friday/saturday which may be too late to enter (though not for voting). I hope I made sense.
