Irritating Editor's Note: Choc, I think you mean the expresSION "calling dibs."
(Don't worry. I don't expect you to "give thanks" for these little headaches I inflict!) |

As long as you don't expect me to thank you for reminding me (yet again) that my dyslexia is the bane of my existance!
(Insert appropriate "I'm not really angry or mad, I just need a couple more Tylenol and a good night's sleep" smilie here. Then add another smilie that winks or something indicating I'm still trying to be cute even when I've got a migrane.)

Yeah, Whip . . . and is there another word for "synonym"???
And why isn't palendrome spelled the same way backwards as it is forwards?
By the way, I'm a bit surprised that no one got my Snakes on a Train review. Has no one heard of Pullman Porters? Of course, it came to me immediately because of the Steve Goodman song "City of New Orleans", which Woody Guthrie called 'the best damned train song' he'd ever heard and was shocked to find it was written by a little Jewish guy from Chicago.

Er, thats palindrome, Chocky.
And, although I've heard of Pullman, I'm not sure what its got to do with snakes. You wanna share it with us?
Yeah, Woody was shocked it was written by a little Jewish guy from Chicago. He could have sworn it was written by a big Jewish guy from Chicago, right?
And RedPen, although, sadly, synonym may have no synonyms, homonym does have a homonym, for example: "The snail is an animal who carries his homonym".

Nah, you're getting your Latin and Greek mixed up. Homo as in 'man' is pronounced "hoemoe", but homo as in 'same' is pronounced "hommoe" (or "hommuh"). Admittedly, I have disregarded this fact in a review... |
