Dusting off my five oldest non-vote getters. The original title for Blow-Out is La Grande Bouffe. If you have seen it you surely have not forgotten it.

Get your Tums out.

An aside for the oldtimers--the Fort Apache review came out at the time of L'affaire Pokernose.

I'm really fond of these moment-in-F.W.F.R.-time tributes, like when the site was taken over by not the most effective cyber terrorist ever, but it's easy for them to get overlooked.

Back with some new stuff.

The Da Vinci Code review may contain a spoiler if you haven't read the book, seen the film, watched the previews, talked to anyone, etc.

Its somewhat akin to worrying that you may be spoiling Titanic by saying that the ship sinks. Oops - I should have spoilered that.

Kennedy: Ghost in the maSheen

One note: Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura from the original "Star Trek" series) plays Cuba Gooding Jr.'s mom in "Snow Dogs."

Not really. I did not know that the book was about that before reading it, which I only did this year (i.e. long after it was first widely known).

When Titanic first came out, I remember a friend of mine asking me not to spoil it. It goes without saying that we burned him at a small gathering so that he did not spoil the human gene-pool, which, as we all know, is the epitome of gumption.
