I've just had a review declined as " similar to another review " - However there are no other reviews of this film yet.

I presume it means that it is similar to a review of another film.

For the record my review was for " Man, Eight Girls , A " and was " Octo Pussy " .

Just seeking clarification

Someone else must have it pending or in their declined pile for the same movie.
I just submitted it for the same movie as a test and it went to my declined pile too.
