I often see a good review, click on it and then have to hunt all over the page to vote for it. (Apple F doesn't seem to work - is that because of my browser?)

How about when one clicks on it, that review is highlighted in some way, either by colour (or other graphic feature) or by one being taken to the part of the page where it can be found?

Er, this is just a long shot Sal, but why not try clicking on VOTE?

You never know, it might just work.

Um, either I am missing something in my version of the site, or you haven't read the title of this thread!

The title of this thread appears to be "What film?"

So, where do you see these good reviews, and what is it exactly you are trying to do? What part of the review are you clicking on?

If you clikc on the film title, why do you have to hunt for the review when you've just seen it and you can find it immediaetly by hitting the BACK button on your browser?

This is because I am referring to the feature at the top right of pages that is called and labelled 'What film?'...

I've just seen another good one - "Spidey cries, Uncle". Couldn't find it to vote. With over two hundred reviews, one cannot laboriously go through them all in order to find cases like this.

I don't bite the Apple, Mac uhm, Sal, but doesn't your browser have a "find" facility? If so, you could do a page search for Spidey cries, Uncle and it should take you to the review you like. Even if there are several pages, it only takes a few moments to repeat the process!
Hope this is helpful

Not that I'm aware of. I would have thought that Apple F would work just like in a document, but it doesn't seem to.

The FIND facility on IE type browsers is CTRL F. See if that works for you.

That's the equivalent of Apple F. However, I have just tried the latter on this page and it worked. Nevertheless, it absolutely definitely has not worked on some occasions, and it wasn't that the review was on a different page or something. Anyway, I'll keep trying it and see whether it usually works. My suggestion above would still be a nice feature, but if Apple/Ctrl F mostly works, then it would be much less of an advantage, so probably wouldn't be worth programming.

It's not a bad idea and I doubt it would take that much programming but it is extra Benjtime for a fairly marginal gain.

You folks need to put down your stone tools and download Firefox already, and make sure you turn on the "begin searching as I type" feature. When I'm looking for a word, all I have to do is start typing and it finds it right away.

I usually go to google advanced and search the site when I'm trying to find a specific review or combination of words...

I think that would be a bit much just to find a review to vote on, although I often use it to see whether an idea has been used anywhere. One would also have to go to the cached version of the page in order for it to help with the issue here.
