Yikes!  Which one? I'm guessing it's just an accident though. I'd never thought about whether to allow actual porn titles, but I'm guessing if you look hard enough many good porn puns will have been used in the past. So perhaps it's better to turn a blind eye to it...  |

Actually, I think if the existing porn title didn't win the round, it should be allowed in another one. However, if an existing porn title won previously, it shouldn't be allowed to be put up again.
(Just one person's opinion.)

Oops, what I meant was (best to use the example).... StaLean's entry was "Saving Ryan's Privates" which happens to be exactly the same as the title of this movie here, which isn't even porn actually, it's a parody.
So, the question is, should we allow people to use titles of movies that already exist (most will actually be porn movies, not parodies)?
I removed StaLean's entry 'cos she asked me to, but this is one of the few things in life that I don't actually have an opinion on.  |

I don't see why not. There's still creativity in using a real, exisiting movie title, as it is, and applying it to that particular round's person, and asking us to think about that title, since it sounds like it could be porn title, or sounds like the round's actor should have been in that porn movie. Nothing wrong with that, if you ask me.
Personally, I think we should put StaLean's submission back on the list.

| Leave them in, I doubt anyone here is doing research on actual porn to find entries for this contest. If we are good at making them up (like we undoubtedly are), then we are bound to accidentally match a real title here and there, so be it. |

I'm sure I'd heard of "Forrest Hump" before too, but an infinite number of FWFR's at an infinite number of terminals and your bound to accidently bump into real title.

Oh bugger it. I've put it back in. In fact all I needed to do was read my own rules to get the answer for this one:-
"Use inspiration from any source, but it must be somehow related to the subject."
So, anything goes as long as it fits the rules. I can't be bothered being a FWPT policeman hence writing the rule that way when FWPT began. |
