Lucky for me that JTC didn't have someone else in mind.
Beautiful timing.

Now I can get back to the cricket.

My, I am so honoured! Thank you both and I've just hit a page each of both your zero pages to show you just how much I appreciate your taking the time to post for me.

It's quaint what a chip Australians have on their shoulders about the British. Just as well we don't rely on prowess at moving a ball around for our national identity.

In the style of some FWFRs.... Australia - 5, England 0.

Australia minus five? That doesn't sound like a very good score...

I think you should be able to keep the little trophy thingy and then refuse to play us for it again, then that would be the end of it forever, now that would be a result for me!!

Chocky thanks for the votes, it was a challenge to get the timing right turns out 26 seconds is the magic difference!

I too only checked in to see whether Conan (or Josh) managed to secure that final, coveted place for ChocolateLady. What impeccable timing, Josh. If only our cricketers could say the same.

Naturally I shall be hoping that Andy Murray will salvage some of our reputation for sporting prowess by taking the Australian Open, beating a few Aussies on the way.

Done: approximately 20,000 reviews read.

C.L., I have pushed you into the top 20 by total votes (and myself out of it).

HAHAhaaaaahaaaaahaaaaaaQuaint my arse. England would luuuuuuurve to be boasting about their prowess as Number 1 in the world in Test and one day cricket. Australia have been fielding outstanding teams for several years. I don't like cricket much but it amazes me they can promote the Ashes through beer, bikini clad girls and moustaches and still make England look like amateurs (instead of no 2 in the world at test cricket as they were at the time).Boonie Mo

A boast which currently goes to South Africa. Australia would still be No. 1 if they hadn't made the mistake of playing NZ three times in the last week.

I see that this thread has become cricket-related. Check out this thread here for more cricketty discussions.

That's what I like about one day cricket, much more unpredictability. Even England beat the Aussies the other week. Anyway, I'll keep an eye on the other thread. I might learn something
