Welcome Shiv! Yes, it can take 6 weeks, two months and sometimes more. It's all part of the fun, actually - opening up your computer and finding new reviews have been accepted. Remember that the people who do the accepting do it on a voluntary basis and sometimes it takes a while. Just have patience and enjoy writing reviews. Good thing you found this forum - you'll enjoy the site more by being here. Join in the fun with the Four Word Porn Titles, and Four Word Tasteless Obits or just start a thread about whatever you like. We're a friendly bunch.

Howdy, Shiv! Just be patient, and keep checking in. benj [our fearless leader] has a group of editing elves to help him, but still it can take a while to wade through the submissions and come up with real gems.
Above all, keep 'em coming!

Hi Shiv, good to see a West Aussie around. Where abouts in WA are you? I grew up and lived in Fremantle for 20 years.
Before the day benj had helpers the wait time for a review to be processed got to over 3 months.

Thanks for the replies and some more insight into how the site works. Anyway, since I posted my query 3 of the reviews were accepted. It certainly is good fun. To answer the question about where I am in WA -the Kimberleys. Not much of a city person anymore.

The Kimberleys, nice. I drove to Darwin along the coast many years ago and spent many nights camping in the Kimberleys. |
