Okay, not to start trouble again.

Remember me? I'm the one who started the trouble by asking for extra smilies last time.

But, hey, we did get some cool ones, once all the fighting and bloodshed was over.

I have two questions.

1) What is the bamf smilie? Is that something that means something in another country and I don't get it because I'm a Yank?

2) Can we get a stinker smilie? What about a skunk face? Or a face with a nose that has a clothespin on it?

I think it would be used. You know, when people want to say that they realize they're being stinkers.

K.

I know what the Bamf is (it's based on a comic book character - Nightcrawler, of the X-men) but I don't know what it means in terms of expressing a sentiment in the Fourum...

...AND I'M THE ONE WHO MADE IT!?

It was more or less just an example I showed to benj of all the little smilies I was making (I think I have about 30 more superheroes), I told him not to keep it, but you know benj, just because it's his website he think he can do whatever the hell he wants![2]

The stinker is a good idea, though. Maybe I'll dabble.

Your skunk idea didn't pan out for me. But I did send benj another Stinker option as well as the thumbs up/down that I think Randall suggested.

Don't know if you'll ever see them, but I still have fun.

Well, I like making them, it's something to do in lieu of reviewing [2]

BAMF sounds like the acronym for Jules' wallet.

Bad Ass Mother F*cker.

(Bet you didn't think an almost 50 year old mother of three would know that, did you?)

That's Barbra Streisand you're talking about isn't it? She was Mother Focker... (don't care to know about her ass though.)

BAMF is also an acronym for
Biomass and Methane Fuels
Builders' Association of Metropolitan Flint

I came looking for a discussion on the bamf because it's rarely used as Badass Motherf***er and I wondered why. It's colloquial usage is now as a 'compliment' (like wicked). So for example, it's a smilie I'd be tempted to attach to any mention of Samuel L Jackson ([2])

Looks like Bamf finally bit the dust. But the word on the street is that thumbs up/down are on the way.

The Stinker was flushed, however.

-----------

Upon further review, the Thumbs are there, but you have to click Edit Smile List and select everything and then refresh for them to appear on the left.

Ta da!
