BTW, PKMN, benj is aware of the wait-time problem, and has fixed it, as explained in this thread here. So I'd say it should hopefully be a relatively short time before the wait-time is brought down to zero by benj and the MERPs. I agree that nobody wants to wait months for reviews to be processed.  |

Considering the fact that Benj made the announcement that submissions would be restricted in order that he and the MERPs would have an opportunity to catch up with the backlog of reviews, that he asked us to please be patient while they try their best to get caught up, the fact that all these people do this on a purely voluntarily basis, that I myself have had 49 reviews approved in the last 2 weeks (a great increase over the 2 previous weeks), then yeah, I think that such postings are stirring the embers of a dying fire. All of us have a backlog, and the vast majority of us are understanding and content enough to wait out the backlog. Not to mention that posting in the fourum invites any of us to comment on a posting, and have the right to do so. Name calling and insults are, however, not necessary.
I feel the crunch too, but I do understand Benj's plight and am more than willing to be patient. |

Hello, this is NOT in ANY way meant as a whinge or a complaint - please read the whole post before reacting
My review processing rate has only gone up from 1 in two weeks to 5 in 10 days.
Another fwiffer has had over 200 processed in the last 6 weeks compared to my 15.
It is a fact of life that, for whatever reasons, fwiffers do not get equal amounts of reviews processed during the same time period. I have noticed this since I started on fwfr.
So for some people the submission cap might not be noticeably affecting their review processing rate.
Also, the announcement of the cap relies on people checking fourum and finding the posts by Benj to know that any changes are being made. FWFR-related/General may not be a place people regularly surf into.
I am just stating facts in order to explain why some fwiffers may still end up expressing frustration in posts. As for myself, I became zen about the whole wait time thang many moons ago
