A quadruple 'z'!!

Hint: 'zap' is a kill with a gun.
This review is far superior to my 4X review.

I haven't seen the film. What does 'xenephobes' Xanadu' refer to?

The Spartans are very xenophobic. They consider Sparta to be a Utopia. For anyone else reading (as I assume you must know this), a xebec is an historic Mediterranean sailing ship.

Little Old Lady from Dubuque

OK, here are a couple of mine I like ....

Alpha Dog (2006) ... Tattooed Timberlake talks tough.

Borat (2006) ... Kazakhstani kommentator kaptivates Amerika.

Brigadoon (1954) ... Manhattanites' misty mountain melodrama.

Breast Men (1997) ... Medics manipulate many mammillaries.

Boogie Nights (1997) ... Marky makes marquee magic.

And that only takes me through the "A" and "B" titles ... see that I use alliteration a lot ...

I have been away for so long from fwfr and fourum but I like this idea so much that I can't resist putting these in...

*Naked cooking bb
*Erin Brockovich bbbb
*Indiana Jones and the last crusade cccc
*Small soldiers dddd
*Indiana Jones fff
*The Guru ppp
*Namastey London llll
*Deep Blue Sea ssss + ssss
*The Bikini Carwash company wwww
*Zardoz zzzz

and finally, a parallel and rhyming alliterative (unfortunately most of my reviews are these)
*Lolita dsds

btw, the ones in the bold are very new ones seeking affection and attention ( alliteration unintended!)

Is it time for FWFR'ers Challenge #2? Assonance? Anagrams? Acronyms? Shall we go at this alphabetically?

Rhymes sound good to me too but out of deference to Salopian, who started this thread, perhaps we should wait for his input and suggestions as to who chooses new topics in the future. There are many different options that spring to mind--reviews in pig Latin, for one.

I had landed late and submitted my alliterations very late. Why not wait for may be 3-4 days? I'd want to finish this round before embarking on another.

I think by necessity these rounds, however spaced apart, will need to overlap, because some submissions will take a long time to be approved.

I had in mind saving rhyming for a bit, as I think that will be one of the most successful themes and also because it is a similar category of theme to this one.

I'd like to start the next round, but I also don't mind if someone else does. I'd like there to be no real rules other than the theme, but I would strongly encourage people to only post their best two or three reviews. People have been, let's say, rather more liberal this round than I expected.
