ok, this one has been rejected as too generic for The Blue Lamp
Obscure perhaps, but generic? it couldn't be more specific
DP PC DOA: RIP?
chew on that one and if you work it out you'll earn no votes at all just mucho kudos.
Sorry Rovark, but the game is for approved reviews that are obscure. Since M0rky gave me the stage...
Let's see if anyone can figure out what this review refers to.

Hmm ... using the trusty IMDB as a crib sheet ['cause you KNOW I ain't seen it!]
looks like it might mean Nissim can't be got rid of. To give someone 'the boot' means to fire them or elbow them or deep-six 'em. Or - for those who've worked in the restaurant trade - to 86 them!
In any case, according to the IMDB summary and in accordance with Hebrew tradition, the younger brother in law of a widow must marry her. So when Rosa's husband dies his younger brother is supposed to step up except he's only 12. Now, since the only Nissim in the cast list appears twice - once as a kid, the other as an adult - I'm guessing he's the one that can't be got rid of. Elementary or Wat, son?
Yours sincerely BaftaSherlock

Bravo, Bafta! Of course, the original "Halizah" ceremony talks about a sandal or a shoe, but since a boot is just as much a foot covering as a boot, I took that liberty for the review. The movie is more complex, and is probably one of the best Israeli films of all time, so if you ever get a chance to see it, I would recommend it very highly.
Who knows but this may actually have been the origin of giving someone the boot!
Your go, Bafta - what is your obscure review?

They had been toying with the idea of a voiceover for a while, but the final decision to add it wasn't made until long after shooting had already completed. Harrison Ford wasn't really enthusiastic about recording the VO. Not only did he not think the film needed it, but he didn't like the way they wrote it, either. Most importantly, he didn't want to go back and work on this movie anymore, he'd already moved on. But he was still under contract, so he had no choice. Supposedly, the reason Deckard always sounds so bored in the VO is because Ford really was bored. |

Is it a method the Free Masons use to raise the dead? (And in the film simba is gripped and raised by his ear by his parent)

Google makes things too easy these days.
The whole film is loaded is Masonic imagery, by the way, starting with the opening song. |

I did not realized there was such imagery. Now that I think about it, it's apparent. Interesting.
A few years ago I read "Rule by Secrecy" by Jim Mars.

It's as good a work of fiction as any other, I guess.
Okay, I actually know this, but since I got the last one I'll give someone else a chance. I'll login when I get to the office, if it's still unanswered I'll go at it.
Edit: Come on people...don't make me have to find another review for this thread. There's gotta be someone besides me that gets Mr. S's review! |

What is the 'extra' Here?
A hint--It's a tribute review. |
