Seans For Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt
Sean says:
Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next. |

Thursday's Children
Tidbits and Tidtats: Prince of Tides: Nick Nolte is an unemployed football coach who leaves Charleston for New York to care for his sister Savannah who tried to commit suicide. While there, he has a fling with Savannah's psychiatrist, Dr. Lowenstein, played by Barbra Streisand (also - an old beer jingle in the US was "Tonight, let it be Lowenbrau).
A Bronx Tale: Lillo Brancato plays Calagero, aka C, the son of straight laced Robert De Niro. As a child, he sees a local mob hit but decides not to tell the police what he saw. C is taken under the wing of the mob boss, Chazz Palminteri, becoming involved in their illegal activities. Lillo Brancato is presently in jail at Riker's Island awaiting trial for 2nd degree murder in the death of an off-duty policeman during a robbery.
The Hoax: Story of Clifford Irving, who sells his bogus biography of Howard Hughes to a premiere publishing house in the early 1970s.

Only tossers and Toris post early.
thefoxboy's FYC#299 Pirates is the Rated R version of Pirates of the Caribbean. There is a hell of a lot of crying in Spider-man 3 no spoiler. And one review with my full name in it.

They're just poor little reviews that have zero votes.
For the uninformed: Goal II is about a footballer from Newcastle who is transferred to a famous Madrid team. In the movie Sunday in New York Jane Fonda comes to the big city thinking she should get some "experience" before her wedding night. And Are You Being Served? is a feature length movie based on the BBC TV show of the same name. The staff of Grace Brothers goes abroad and find themselves captive in a war zone. |

My oldest & newest make a debut on FYCTH
Im in.
Cheat sheet aka Hints for those that may need them: -
50 First Dates : - Due to her medical condition, Drew always finds the film "The Sixth Sense" very suspenseful despite watching it daily.
I have self-reported this as it is similar to another review, as a result of which I'll be losing eight votes - pl. kindly help me make up the loss with the other review for that film, which is on FYCTH now. |
