Didn't just beat you Chazbo, I lapped you!

I didn't get the reference (I don't remember the film very well). Can you explain?

Hi all,

I was hoping for some new approvals, but no movement from the pending stack for a while.

Cheers, Zulu

Welcome back, Zulu, don't think we've seen you for a while.

V&Vd to here already. A vintage selection from the crew this time.

Thanks Chris. I have been lurking for a while due to heavy commitments elsewhere. My fav review this round was by a Aahaa's brilliant "Failing head over heels.". Demonic's "Sudan Death." made me groan out loud! All v+v.

Cheers, Z

Thanks Zulu - even groans get votes it seems! That one is going very well so far, some of the others unfortunately less so.

Mais oui. Or should that be "Si Senorita"!

The others probably need the hints I provided, so if folks skip that it's a fair cop! I don't expect many people to know what Norton Ghost is.

Harrison Ford's character is named John Book, often referred to by just his surname in the film. The surname of the Amish family he stays with is Lapp, who have a farm, hence "land".

Now, if that's not worth a vote, what is?

50 First Dates : - Due to her medical condition, Drew always finds the film "The Sixth Sense" very suspenseful despite watching it daily.

And despite the 'twist' being quite obvious!

There's a twist in the sixth sense...shock ...horror...it's ruined for me...

Oh and Sal IMGO there does not have to be a twist for a movie to be suspensful.

Can you believe that I haven't yet seen the movie as a couple of my friends animatedly discussed the handling of the climax in my presence?

Dag nammit i don't get your Witness review??

Lapp is the name of the Amish family with whom Ford stays after he is forced to leave Philadelphia.

Hope that helps.

It helps you my friend.

So how about voting for this one, then?
