| This site is quickly approaching 20,000 movies adeed. In keeping with tradition, I just wanted to let the people know, who are adding movies at a fast rate, that the 20000th movie should have 20000 in the title. We shall all be celebrating soon. |

I agree that we should try hard to attain that. Big film adders (BafteBabe, Josh,...), could you please add one of these if you reach that level?
We're currently on 19,782. |

I certainly will try.
May I suggest that due to time differences, etc, when someone notices that we're -- I dunno, say -- 25 films away [which is an average add-on for me - usually as part of a new accolade] -- then that person announce their intent in this thread - or a new related thread. I know how competitive some of you are, and it would be sad to see this turn into a pissing contest and lose the whole point.
It would be so good to present the 20Grand Grand to benj in tact, yeah?
Does that sound fair?

Personally I don't see the importance of what is the 20,000th film as the film ID numbers are already over the 20k, and no one will know after the fact what was the 20,000th added still surviving film.
It is a milestone yes and if it is me I will try to do as you lot seem to wish but the significance is lost on me.
The latest film added at this time is Mysterious Two and its fwfr film number is 20178 so I don't see why you are all so concerned.

Hi JTC!
I think it's because benj recently mentioned that the stat he was most looking forward to was a fwfr database of 20K -- you know the number that shows on the HomePage when one logs in.
What do you mean by 'film number' -- I never knew such a thing existed.

| I had forgotten about deletions, so it's too late. From my point of view, it would have had to have been the film with I.D. 20,000 - not the 20,000th still on the database at the time of adding. |
