I don't know if you're still accepting movies for this accolade. The s***-disturber in me wants to nominate The Godfather just for the heck of it , but I got beaten up so badly on a different thread regarding that film, and I have no wish to go through that again. Films I love to hate?? It's a brilliant idea; we've all seen bad movies, but some bad movies are sort of watchable in spite of or because of their inherent badness....but one that I could not bring myself to watch again? Ever? Or I could only watch it as long as I can scream at the TV how bad it is? One that fills me with loathing just at the thought of it?? Only One?? For me it would have to have no redeeming features whatsoever, which rules out two from your accolade; The Avengers and Batman and Robin because although they are both truly awful, they both feature Uma Thurman dressed in her figure-hugging best...I sat through Even Cowgirls Get the Blues and those ridiculous thumbs for a similar reason. So I thought a long time about this, and although I'd love to nominate Top Gun and Officer and a Gentleman and even cheese like They Live, instead I've opted for Happiness, which I thought was a ssub-par Magnolia, which itself is a sub-par Short Cuts |
