FOUR YOUR CONSIDERATION - TREASURE HUNT
Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next. |

What ever you think about the time I began the thread, let me assure you that I hit the button just as the BBC were sounding the 6.00am pips.

Five new with a foreign language theme. By chance there are many Man(n)i's in this round...
Notes: "The Brotherhood of the Wolf" features a character called Mani, and an actor called Jacques. "The Experiment" stars Moritz Bleibtreu of "Run Lola Run" fame. He played Manni. In "The Lives of Others" Weisler is the Stasi bugger facing a moral conundrum. To explain more would be to spoil a great film.
and there's no point explaining "Gozu" - it defies rational summary. |

Spare parts
Hints: Jack Nicholson, star of "Easy Rider," also starred in "Cuckoo's", which was written by Ken Kesey.
"The Hidden" was about an alien who transferred from body to body. "Dreamcatcher" had same idea, only this alien exited through the anus!
In this version of "Midsummer's," James Cagney plays Bottom, who is turned into a donkey by the fairy queen. |

Late to bed Early to rise Makes a girl Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy
Okay, you twisted my arm! OW! Here come some hinties:
In Marat/sade - the late great Patrick Magee played Count de Sade, after whom sadism is named. What a legacy! And a numerical pun as well! I mean to say!
In Nude Law Enforcement - one of the naked cops is played by Summer Saunders. Take down has two meanings, as if you didn't know
Last Man Standing - stars our Brucie and it's set in Jericho, Texas. Think of a Bible battle.
In Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - Bill Nighy sports a rather unusual beard ... in fact you could say it's ....
Zodiac - documents the true story of a famous and still unsolved horrid murder case which obsess Jake Gyllenhaal's character for decades.

Vote here, if you please.
One helpful hintful: Ososhiki is the Japanese word for funeral. The (comedic) film depicts a family dealing with the death of one of its members.
