Apologies for being a day late posting this: had to have a tooth extracted yesterday and not thinking clearly

DA ROOLZ
1. Look at the top-rank of your SECOND PAGE. Pick ONE film you think deserves to be on your first page - as sorted by votes received.

2. Isolate that film* and present the link in this thread WITH ...

3. AN EXPLANATION OF WHY YOU LIKE IT.

Who knows, your wish may come true

* It's been covered before how to do this, but here's a step-by-step recap:
1. Go to the page featuring everyone's reviews of your chosen film.
EITHER
2. From the drop-down display options choose My Reviews Only.

OR
2. Select Reviewer Name for the page display.
3. Find your own review and count which number it is on the page.
4. Up at the top url display you'll see something like this:
http://www.fwfr.com/display.asp?sort=2&dir=2&id=1698&Mode=&Rows=1&Start=11
5. See where it says Start=11 ... change that numeral to whatever you counted in step 3, and press go.
6. Your new page should now start with your chosen review.
7. NOW, to eliminate all the other reviews still showing, go up to the url display again and see where it says Rows=100.
8. Change that to Rows=1

3. Your new page should now have only your chosen review displayed. Copy that url and use it as your link for this thread.

HAVE FUN EVERYONE!!

You Will Remember

I like this because it's so obvious, so simple, and it never fails to raise a very loud smile!

Today is Tuesday and I'm posting my link for this round anyway.

I like this one since it was my first Burl Ives pun.

Ah... ever heard of the musical "Showboat"? If so, you might remember a song called "I've got plenty of Nothing", which the singer sang to sound more like "I's got plenty o' Nothin'".

Anyway, Burl Ives plays Big Daddy in this version of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and the whole story is about his family trying to make sure they get as much of his fortune as possible. Spoiler warning: The joke is actually on them when they find out that their father was actually broke!

I like this one 'cause it's a double tribute.

Of course, I had to change a letter, but it's still the only double tribute I've seen. Doesn't mean there aren't others, I just haven't seen them.

I've also got a triple tribute on my pending pile.

Nice. I knew the plot of CoaHTR, but not the Showboat bit.
