Name four reviewers whose names refer to their professions (and explain the references - in case there are examples I haven't considered). |

There's only one that I'm sure of, and one probable:
100% sure: Baftababe, who has a lifetime membership of BAFTA, following on from her film/TV work.
80% sure: The Prof, who changed his username to this recently stating something like "it's more appropriate"
Any others would be just guesswork, but I like the idea of mandodgingdebris taking his name from his profession.

One is Cheese_Ed (dairy farmer/cheese producer), one is Alan Smithee (bogus director, reviewer, etc.), one is kolo (song writer).

Sean. With all those sheep in NZ, he would have to be a shearer. |

None of those were who I had in mind.
Alan Smithee is not a reviewer and is therefore not a valid answer. The name also does not reflect the job anyway.
Is Cheese_Ed a dairy farmer then? I thought he just lived in the cheesehead state/city, whatever it is.
I don't get the kolo reference.
If the latter two are correct, then I guess you have answered (as Chris C sort of gave two answers to anyone who wanted them), so please ask the next question. (I'll then say which other two I meant.) |

Kolo is his aka name for performing and songwriting. Someone else can pose the next question, as I am going to be away for several days. |

I don't know if you knew this, Salop, and therefore not sure if I was on the list, but "redPen" does refer to my profession, which is an editor.
Do I count? Do I win? |

Oh, no... never as a profession, only as a very carefully planned, expensive and luxurious gourmet hobby!

Yes, you were one of my four, as was Corduroy Pillow. Kolo doesn't count because that is just the name he uses in his job (if I am understanding StaLean's explanation correctly) - it doesn't refer to his job. (I'm sure that Sean uses the name Sean in his job, but that doesn't mean it refers to it.)
If Cheese_Ed is a dairy farmer, then the next question is duh's (because she gave the fourth answer); if he is not, then the next question is yours. |

First off, I don't know if this is your original phrasing of the question (as the above is the edited version per your change). Second, if this is basically the original phrasing, then "Kolo" is the name listed when performing, hence, this refers to his professional title. Third, I gave the name Cheese_Ed as dairy farmer, not duh. By the way, I am back from my "several days away," and anyone may do the next question, as far as I'm concerned. |
