Five new! (Page Three!?)
Notes: "Highlander 2" is set in space. In "O Brother Where Art Thou" George Clooney records a song.
Oh, and Freddie Mercury is dead. No, really.

I think you should put a spoiler warning on this too - do you think? |

Yes, Thanks.
That's not what I meant. The ship does not come alive. It becomes a pathway to Hell. It's haunted by the essence of Hell, but it is not alive. So it's not accurate.

I've got a lot of tolerance for bad films, but this is in another league altogether, isn't it?

Salopian - Is there a reason why you're so into Bollywood? Just curious.

It's not that I'm massively into it, but I started seeing the films after I got a Cineworld card (i.e. unlimited films for a set, very good value, price). The main reason I like them is probably that Bollywood stars are sometimes very, very good-looking . It's a bigger requirement over acting ability than even in Hollywood. Another reason is probably just very standard - the films are really vibrant and heart-warming. They're obviously usually extremely kitsch (although there's the occasional serious one), as well as very long, and so I do have to be in the right frame of mind. A final reason is that I can (sort of) speak Nepali and so I like to see how much Hinglish I can understand without subtitles (not much). |

I put a spoiler warning despite the fact that I wouldn't classify this review as a spoiler. |

Ah, but there are those who would argue that something haunted has a life of its own. Come to think of it, I am one of them. |

Indeed. One would think that an A-list actress (especially one who turned in that particular Shakespeare in Love performance) could and would choose better vehicles. This was so bad that my aunt, who will watch anything, said "Do we have to watch this??" |

V&V to here.
The recent rash of approvals has definitely bumped up the quality of reviews for this round. Some of the best reviews I've seen in weeks. I handed out many 4/5s but the only one to get five votes from me this round is ....(drumroll).... Demonic! |
