DA NOO ROOLZ
1. Look at the top-rank reviews of ANY OF YOUR PAGES. Pick ONE film you think deserves to move up to the next page - as sorted by votes received. This means that even one vote will "move it up." You are urged to say which page from the top you've chosen.

2. Isolate that film* and present the link in this thread WITH ...

3. AN EXPLANATION OF WHY YOU LIKE IT. Not an explanation of the review ... but of WHY YOU LIKE IT.

Who knows, your wish may come true

* It's been covered before how to do this, but here's a step-by-step recap:
1. Go to the page featuring everyone's reviews of your chosen film.
EITHER
2. From the drop-down display options choose My Reviews Only. [this method is ONLY if you have one review for your chosen film]

OR
2. Select Reviewer Name for the page display.
3. Find your own review and count which number it is on the page.
4. Up at the top url display you'll see something like this:
http://www.fwfr.com/display.asp?sort=2&dir=2&id=1698&Mode=&Rows=1&Start=11
5. See where it says Start=11 ... change that numeral to whatever you counted in step 3, and press go.
6. Your new page should now start with your chosen review.
7. NOW, to eliminate all the other reviews still showing, go up to the url display again and see where it says Rows=100.
8. Change that to Rows=1

3. Your new page should now have only your chosen review displayed. Copy that url and use it as your link for this thread.

HAVE FUN EVERYONE!!

This is on top of my eighth page, and I like it because it references one of the seminal lines from the flick.

I think this is 29th from the top ... or 1 up from the bottom

It's for His Majesty O'Keefe which stars Burt Lancaster. He's a merchant seaman supplying a company determined to control some South Pacific islands and their resources. One of these is copra, which the natives make into sacred artifacts.

I like my review because it evokes the word coprophiliac [shit-loving] - since at the start of the film Lancaster eats the shit of the company, but turns around to become a copra-philiac when he's eventually captivated by the people and their life-style.

This review for 'V for Vendetta' was one of the first written that I considered even remotely clever, yet with 142 reviews to go with it.... well, it quite easily got lost in the shuffle(3rd page, middle)...

http://www.fwfr.com/display.asp?uid=10704&id=12848&Mode=&Sort=3&Rows=100&Dir=1&Start=1

Will catch up with voting thursday evening.

Review for Haute Tension

Lingering at the top of my page ten is this review. (It's for a French language film.) The review is a great plot summary as well as being a quadruple rhyme.

What more can you ask?

Oh, did I mention it's a bit of a spoiler? Well, it's a bit of a spoiler. But it's worth it.

Hoping to move up from page 10. Playing on 'handsome' Robert Taylor and Billy's surname, 'Bonney'.

Here's a "fifth." Take some and pass it around . . .

Top of my fifth page. I like this one, cuz it addresses something that always irritated me about this kid's name. Geeky editor thang.

Hate to say it but I saw this when it first came out on a double bill. Can't remember the other feature.

I truly think this review of mine for Ben Hur deserves to move from my fourth page up to my third, due to its sheer simplicity as well as its accuracy.
