Thanks Boat, I've corrected and resubmitted. I've also recently gotten a "Don't understand for Patton "General gets slap down" and two declines for the Italian Job remake "No Turin back" and "No Caine refrain". |

For your information Rockfsh, negative reviews are notoriously difficult to get accepted around here.
The idea is that reviewers are supposed to say what the film is, not what its not.

Do you think 'What about other 6?' will get accepted for The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (which was the first of the Sinbad movies)? I've been humming and haaing about it for while - the MERPs haven't got to it yet so if you think it inappropriate to ask, just let me know |

I submitted a review that is humorous, true and sounds like a famous person's name. This review hit me as soon as I heard something about this movie. It was rejected as not understandable. So I resubmitted with explanation. Hopefully it will get passed. Do you think it will?????
Star Trek XI (2008) - "Two Spock, Star Trekker"
now can you hear a (dead) famous person's name? |

Yes, I agree it's generic, but not in relation to 7 seas movies. I'm going to change it. Thanks |

I've been trying to bang this review thru(or a variation of it) for months now, and for the life of me, I can't figure out why it won't pass muster.
Mars Attacks- jack Nicholson has 2 roles... my submission: A pair of Jacks
There are several references among the accepted reviews of Nicholson's dual roles, yet I can't seem to get 1 thru.
Any offerings? |

I'm guessing here, but I'd say it's not specific enough to that film ... the only other double Jack I can see that's been approved mentions the Martians. A pair of Jacks could just as well reference any film with two guys named Jack rather than Jack N. playing two roles. Maybe you can think of another word, then drop the initial article ... so "Pair of Jacks. <insert new word here>" Wotcha reckon?!

Hmmm, I'll keep trying to mix it up, see what happens. I actually figured that using Nicholson's name in the description would personalize it, but I suppose it still come across vague.
I guess I should've scrolled down further before refering to 2 postings as having been 'several.' No excuse for lack of research.
Thanks Bafta |

I had two reviews recently rejected, neither of which surprised me. One was 'Microsoft's Real Mission Statement' for The Matrix. There was no reason given, but i suspect it's because the review has nothing to do with the film. I still thought it was funny. The other was "'Springtime for Hitler' Prequel" for TRIUMPH OF THE WILL, which I think is hysterical....but what do I know?

Had a review declined for " Telly Savalas : The ABC's of winning Blackjack " which was " Kojak on Blackjack ". Reason - too similar to another review.
Other reviews " Kojak , a Blackjack Crackerjack " and " Kojak , Blackjack , Get Knack"
Good luck to them , they beat me to it but does that mean you can only have one review mentioning Kojak and Blackjack?
