I'm not sure if this was brought up before, but I just bought a Mac and the only web browser it has is Safari. For some reason, I can't upload a new avatar on FWFR. I hope I don't have to have Hezbo-Laa-Laa for the rest of my life. Any suggestions?

Loads of problems with uploading pictures on Macs/via Safari/via Camino, but Benj does know about it. Try downloading some other browsers.

I downloaded Firefox and ran into the same problem. Any other suggestions?

I'm using seamonkey, had some problems changing pics, but it seemed to resolve itself.

What's seamonkey? Are you using a Mac?

I downloaded it and tried it, but it still wouldn't work! It said I needed the file to be a jpg, gif, or bmp even though I tried uploading a jpg! Help!

I had the same problem, cool, before I bought a new computer last fall. Nothing I did -- no alternate browser, no alternate setting -- helped. One day, I just couldn't upload graphics any more, on the same computer I had been using for years. So I suspect it's something in the code somewhere, but benj has been unable to find it thus far. Sorry.

I think the site's always had a problem with jpg - well, always so long as I've been here. Apart from the recent accolade upload problem - now fixed by benj the magnificent - gif seems to be the acceptable ... plus, of course, pixel size and byte size need to be right as well.

My latest anomaly is the Search Pop-Up box for adding films to accolades. In IE7 - no matter what settings I use - suddenly the box disappears as soon as it's called up. Whereas on Firefox it's absolutely fine.
