Thoughts: Don't get it. So the joke is that Kingsley is dealing with the fact that he's an alcoholic, but not the fact that he murders people professionally, right? Funny, I guess, but it makes me care a lot less about if he gets sober. |

i rented that recently too. i've been watching it in segments and love it. some really witty dialogue.
EDIT: i finished watching 'You Kill Me,' and it didn't quite hold up. i still think it had some brilliant exchanges between Kingsley and Leoni. for a while, i thought her overlooking his problems was a stretch but it worked out. i don't think Kingsley was comfortable doing comedy, but the character was uncomfortable most of the time, so i thought that worked well too, or just as likely, he's just that talented. and Pullman was a delightful oddball.
where i thought the movie failed was in mixing comedy, though some pretty dry comedy, with the parts that were supposed to be tense. i found it almost impossible to take the grim parts seriously, as i was waiting for a joke.
the dvd had a good feature about special effects in the film. obviously, it's not "The Phantom Menace," but some of the effects 'YKM' used to create everyday looks were surprising. |

It happens every now and then, I've even accidently submitted my own reviews under her name before.
The strange thing is that I don't know her login details, and I can't get into her account on purpose, I just occassionally get directed to it when I'm not expecting it
