Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt
Sean Says: "Near, far, wherever you are, I believe that my heart will go on..." Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Illogical, Captain
Two simple notes: Pierce Brosnan, formerly TV's "Remington Steele", had his first outing as James Bond in "Goldeneye".
The new "Star Trek" film is supposed to be the first adventures of Kirk, Spock, McCoy and the gang. |

Well, the rain exploded with a mighty crash, As we fell into the sun.
Thanks SO much for all the love on my last round. It's the best round I've had for many a moon!
Briefs: The Fog (1980): Obviously, features Adrienne Barbeau (Carpenter's wife, frequent star and preferred squeeze for the first part of the 80s) as the DJ and Geoffrey Rush as a piratish sort of deep sea ghoul.

HAPPY 1st DAY OF SPRING! tra-la Safety Notes in the Medicine Cabinet:
1. Lady and the Tramp -- Think Donny Osmond. 2. Love Story -- It's not often you get to see a tribute both to our own sweet dance-king Ali, Shakespeare, and a woman dying of cancer. 3. The Last Temptation of Christ -- Evoking a strangely apposite musical reference. 4. The Devil and Daniel Webster -- Remember Hawaii Five-O? Daniel in this film is a writer who sells his soul to the devil. 5. Children of Men -- Kee is the last woman on earth capable of child-bearing.

So cheap and juicy!
Perhaps y'all need some help here? Edward G. Robinson's original name was Manny Goldenberg, in the movie All My Sons he plays Joe Keller whose factory's mistake killed soldiers during WW2. And the movie The Battle of Shaker Heights stars Shia LaBeouf as Kelly Ernswiler and Amy Smart as Tabby. |

Feast on these while you fast on Good Friday
Notes not essential to read: - *Jolly Little Elves: - This short animation film shows a shoemaker and spouse about to have a stale donut and coffee when an elf enters their house and is invited to share the food. The elf shows how to eat a donut by dunking it in coffee. Interestingly, the film came before Dunkin' Donuts became a brand name. *What's Cooking: - Tracks thanksgiving day in different families in US, each of different ethnicity, yet facing similar problems, lending credence to the assertion that US is a melting pot. Also, fits in with the cooking metaphot. |
