Hi all
I'm putting together a particularly tasty accolade called Bite Me. It will consist of films featuring actors who have foodstuff last names. Here's the list:
Tim Curry Halle Berry Jack Lemmon Kevin Bacon Virginia Mayo Sean Bean John Candy Meat Loaf Warren Oates
What I'd like you to do is to visit any/all of their links and pick ONE FILM ONLY -- YOUR FAVORITE for each person. Then post your choices here. The films with the most mentions will be the ones that feature in my accolade.
That way the acc should be within the reach of everyone and not an assault of all the films these actors made.
Your help is not only helpful but without it, there's no accolade at all.
BIG FAT THANKS TO YOU ALL
FURTHER SUGGESTIONS ALWAYS WELCOME
PS To get you started, here are my film choices, but PLEASE post your own favs. TIA alot.
Tim Curry - Rocky Horror Picture Show Halle Berry - Monster's Ball Jack Lemmon - Mister Roberts Kevin Bacon - The Woodman Virginia Mayo - White Heat John Candy - Who's Harry Crumb? Meat Loaf - Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny Warren Oates - Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia |

Can we not suggest more actors?
How about Stephen Fry?
Plus... isn't 'Lemmon' a bit of a cheat? |

Yes, Lemmon is a cheat ... but not if you say it out loud
I'd love it if you can suggest more foodstuff-named actors!
As for Fry -- I've got a whole accolade about him, and I was trying to keep this to foodstuffs as opposed to cooking processes. But if enough people want this one expanded ... who am I to stand in their way
The main thing is to keep it tasty

Warren Oates
I thought of Jasper Carrott but checked and he's not been in any movies, though apparently a Ric Carrott was in Marathon Man
Paul Haggis directed Crash or did you just want to stick with actors BBabe?
Still thinking ...
.. and I'm sure Stuart Whitman has been credited as Stu (Stew) Whitman but that could be wishful thinking |

Cool Rovark ... big thanks for Warren Oates ... he's now added ... do you have a film of his you'd like to nominate?
Yes, I would like this to be actors/actresses only. Please. And last names only, too!

Actually, with Fry I was thinking more along the lines of the singular of American 'fries'.
Maybe it's those large portions Americans are used to that makes it so difficult to picture just one of something |

How about Ingrid Bergman?
She was, after all, a Swede.

I'm going to go with
Curry - Legend ( I might have gone Rocky Horror but Meat Loaf needed it ) Berry - Gothika Lemmon - How to Murder Your Wife ( Some Like It Hot and The Appartment ran it close) Bacon - Stir of Echoes Mayo - White Heat Bean - LoTR Candy - Uncle Buck Meat Loaf - Rocky Horror Oates - The Wild Bunch
So I completely agreed with you on just one out of the nine BBabe Although Your jack Lemmon choice is probably the only one I'd take serious issue with. This is one of those lists we could spend a great evening erm.. 'exchanging views' on over a pint. Look forward to anyone elses fav's |

OK, Ms Pushy, how about the delectably named Victoria Plum who was in THE MEANING OF LIFE.
And, of course, Brian Cox - the apple, Baffy, the apple - ooh, you can't take her anywhere! - who was in, for example, THE BOURNE IDENTITY.
