Welly welly welly well, seems like a certain mix up has gotten resolved. Not only are there two documentaries about men enteracting with dolls, they are both called "Guys and Dolls." Also, unless you talk about them in detail, it's really easy to not realize that people might be talking about two distinctly different documentaries.
"You mean the one about the men who collect dolls?"
"Yeah, that one."
"Creepy!"
"Yeah: ew!"
"I mean, what grown man would collect dolls?
"Yeah, and they're so expensive too, but then most of those guys had only one doll."
"Nah man, those dudes had like dozens of dolls."
"Nah-uh, man, it was only that one dude who had like six of em and was like stuffin em under his bed"
"Dude, put the mushrooms down, bro. You're hallucinating: those dudes had like, doll houses and stuff."
"Doll houses? What, like their own houses? It wasn't like they decorated their own houses like doll houses.
"Dude! They were freaks about decorating the doll houses too!"
[Then, simultaneously]
"What documentary were you watching? Mine was called Guys and Dolls."
Good to see that duh posted a revised review for the little doll doco (votes, please!), and I hope she posts the original one for the big doll doco too. 
(And, not to fear, I trust my review will shortly find its way from the little dolls doco to the big dolls doco. Ain't this place just grand?! ) |

I intended mine to be for the big doll doco...I think. I'm confused. So, what's new? ;)

"Lonely men do Barbie" belongs right where it is. Just trust me on this one (as in "lonely men like to play with Barbie dolls"; most girls also refer to the pastime as "playing Barbie," therefore "doing" Barbie is pretty close enough to catch the reference).
"Barbie does lonely men" should go with the 2007 doco (IMHO, because it contains a stronger implication of the sexual purpose of these life-sized Barbies).
It's confusing enough. Just trust me on this one. Have I ever let you down?
