Sometimes undesired movies creep into an accolade group by accident when we use the auto-include feature when setting up the accolade. My good friend Downtown just alerted me to the fact that a "making of" movie slipped into my Indiana Jones accolade, which he rightly perceived I probably did not intend on purpose (oops: that was a little redundant all over again).
Thanks DT! A sprinkle of votes shall come your way!
Which is all to say, if you see something weird in an accolade, let the accolade maker know: it's probably an accident getting in the way of you getting that extra accolade trophy. |

Absolutely. Of course, this isn't that hard to do, if you're an accolade chaser like myself, since the accolades will suddenly show up in your lists with one film missing. |

ooo - I HATE when that happens. And it's impossible to see which one isn't there anymore. Unless you keep a list or something. Which I don't because I LOVE accolades but not THAT much!

Huh? Perhaps you didn't notice that on your myfwfr page there's a list on the left hand side of the accolades you're closest to finishing. If you click on that accolade name, you'll get only the films you haven't reviewed for that accolade. Even so, if you go into any accolade there's an option for listing only flims you haven't reviewed yourself from that accolade. Works for me!

Yeah, but I have 141 accs at the moment and my "closest to finishing list" is nearly 20. If I notice my total acc number's changed, I just don't have time to go through every one of the "still to do" list. I hardly have time to type this message

I have had trouble with this - I have an accolade that has all films with '&' in it but html must not like that because it also pulls in accents and other special characters so I go in to make the changes yesterday and got all the way to the end of the edit wizard and it asks me for the Accolade name, description and avatar - I skip this step since I didn't want to change it and it lost all my changes - why wouldn't the wizard have these already populated as I was only editing and not creating a new accolade?
Anyone have any ideas?
UPDATE: Ok so I tried again and it basically created a new accolade so I deleted the old one but this seems weird not sure if there is a fix or a workaround. |

Thanks for giving me the credit for pointing it out, but of course I was motivated by self-interest...when that movie crept into the accolade, I lost the trophy from my cabinet and I didn't feel like writing a review for "The Making of..." so it was easier just to bring it to your attention! |

The ampersand character has special use in the transfer of data between the browser and server- it's possible including this in your accolade fields has confused the code some. I'll have to have a check and see if I break it using this. |

Sometimes undesired threads creep into a Fourum section by accident...
Doesn't ampersand have its own code (involving an instance of itself)? If so, perhaps you can set up the accolade to search for the code instead of the character. |
