Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt

Sean Says: Whistle while you waste your time on this site.
Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

All political parties endorse these reviews for president.

Hintlets for those who may need 'em:
Chronicles of Narnia: The Prince Caspian - when the kids return to Narnia, a thousand years has past and the whole place lies in ruins. Oh what a crap film it is!

The Happening M. Night Shyamalan's film blames the wind. Oh what a crap film it is!

I've got nothing new for you - so instead... it's been 30 years to the day since Robert Shaw, one of the best actors ever, died - so here are five of his films.

This is the first time anyone has presented 5 reviews which I've already voted for.

Take a bow!

5 NEW reviews!

Featuring the return of the Explanation section:

- My Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who reflects the sad truth that half the original members of the quartet are now dead.

- The screenwriter who brought us "Being John Malkovich" and "Adaptation", Charlie Kaufman, has written a new film called Synecdoche, New York. He's also directing for the first time, and it sounds even more imaginative than his earlier work. In English, a "synecdoche" is a substitution of the general for the specific or the specific for the general. In the film, Kaufman's lead, a playwright, builds a replica of New York City in a warehouse in similarly named Schenectady, New York, which he populates with a full set of characters ad libbing a play over a number of years. Hey, it's Kaufman. What did you expect? Normal?

- The title character of Kit Kitteridge: All American Girl helps her family escape poverty during the Great Depression. From what I've heard, it's a better film than it's corporate connections would lead you to believe.

- Tobe Hooper directed the sequel The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre as well as the original.

- (And you though my "Synecdoche" explanation was long...) Back in the 60's a guy went to Ford Motors and said I got a great idea: windshield wipers that pause between wipes. You can adjust the speed depending on the amount of rain. Ford said yes, very nice, we're not interested. Time passes, and Ford introduces "intermittent wipers" based on the ideas and designs of this guy. The guy, of course, get no credit or payments from Ford. That's the start of the story behind the upcoming film A Flash of Genius. You can read more here. Fascinating story and probable Oscar-bait.
