Comedies: Four-cicle (Farcical? Yeah, it's weak.)
And for the classics: Un-Four-gettable.
And don't forget the blurb "As seen in TIME magazine and the New York Times!" |

Action: Four armed. Dramas: Four-lorn. Horror: Four-ensics Four-eign films Four-gotten classics. (Great puns on very obscure movies, like the classic "Edgar eyes burros" review by noncentz. Four-skin - Ya gotta have a sex-film section. Some of the best puns on the site are there... Four-mative years: for children's films Four-tunes: for musicals.
Y'know, if the title "Four Word Film Reviews" isn't self-explanatory, I doubt a subtitle is going to provide more insight.
LOL - Four-skin!
The chapter on Sex Films featuring Golf ( such as "Shaft's Big Score" ) ) should be called Four-Balls |

"May the Four-ce be with you" -- sci fi film
Sadly, after some debate, there will be no porn/sex film section. By including porn, you might scare off some female readers or religious readers. If a publisher thinks we've limited the market by 50 percent, he/she is less likely to buy the book.
But my dream is that FWFR:The Book gets published and becomes a hit, then one day we can publish a sequel book or porn puns and tasteless reviews because they are among the funniest ones on the site. |

How about making it a challange to the potential buyer
Four Word Film Reviews: Can YOU review a film in just 4 words? These people did...
hopefully prompting the curious to pick the book up and look inside, which is always the first step to getting them to shell out some of their hard earned dosh. |

I think 8 is the best, but none of them are exceptional. Of course, you'll notice that I have no suggestions, either. |

So, there is no hope that my review for The Gift will be included: Roasted Blue Diamond, nuts.
Or, for The Talented Mr Ripley: Killer smothers his Peter. |

I think you're quite safe in that assumption.
This is great news and I can't wait to see it. I like #8 as a description personally. I think you need to avoid any adjectives such as 'funny' or 'hilarious' because you're then limiting yourself to reviews that can described as such. |

OK, how about if we said that its possible that a few of the reviews could be charitably described as mildly amusing?
