You've just pushed me past the 25,000 vote mark, for which I thank you and everyone else who has ever voted for my reviews.
That gives me the 25,000 votes/5000reviews/5votes per review trinity which has been my target for some time, something previously only achieved by the great one NONCENTZ himself.

I just spotted the 5000 approvals... awesome work... but combined with the votes, well, you're a veritable golden badger.

Great stuff. I always enjoy your reviews.
Just one complaint. The day before yesterday I tried to submit the review 'Miss taken' -- simultaneously good advice about, a criticism of, & a literal description of, the rather terrible film Taken -- only to have it rejected with a note that it was a duplicate, even though the original review wasn't showing.
Anyway, turns out you were the culprit. Mine was the first vote your review received, natch.

Yup, that was mine. Thanks for the vote. (We'll gloss over the mistaking-me-for-Whippersnapper part.) I wasn't sure that it would get through, as I didn't know whether the MERP would take the allusion to the title as being strong enough to avoid genericity. Incidentally I didn't intend the advice meaning, so in a way yours was the better review.  |
