That's the worst thing that anyone could do with reviews -- insist on having them languishing around the site but be too ashamed to stand by them. |

[Matt], you gotta think outside the box
[....... ] ....... Matt
A lot of people will give you advice here, and it will all be contrasting and generally as good, if not better or worse, as the advice I'm giving you here. Following me? Good.
You need to ask yourself a few questions. What do you want here? What do you want to be and what do you want to be known for? What do you enjoy the most and how can you be the best at it? What will satisfy you?? How do you maintain that? Has God invested a power in you, a force that can only find its voice on this website, a talent that has thus far remained untapped, do you have a spark of divinity that finds its purest form in your reviews?*
Answer these questions and you will have no need to ask the collective fourum for advice again.
Best of luck,
BB

I used to not like Alan Smithee either. But now I use him to make myself feel more clever. I read his reviews and see how good mine are by comparison. ;) No really, I get a kick out of having him as our shared inside joke. |

Seeing I couldn't stand the girls and was relieved they were finally shut up (as I'm sure Tarantino was given the lavish slow-mo repeat he fetishically indulged in) I might go for c*nts, but that's a matter of taste of course.
Haha yeah funnily enough I was actually considering "Kurt's stunts hurt cunts."

As for editing, no, you get to keep your current votes, although the way I see it if it's miles off your original review it's a bit of a cheat having picked up votes for it. If you end up straying into a new pun or idea I tend submit a new review entirely and then delete the old one if it goes down better than the original.
Yeah I agree, I'd definitely delete a review and submit it again if I was going to change it significantly. I was just wondering because I was thinking of altering this review to "Favourite (blood) group: AB,B,A." because I think the double meaning of "group" makes it slightly better, yet the review is essentially still the same.

I'd simply prefer to have less, but on average better, reviews. Quantity over quality basically, much like yourself.

The essential part is the same so I'd say you could alter that with no qualms. |
