Steps, Ladders

NB: Jacob's Creek is a famous brand of Australian wine.

Possible spoilers for "Jacob's Ladder": the short story "An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge" was one of the inspirations for the film, also in one of the most memorable scenes Jacob's girlfriend Jezzie is impaled by the demon she is dancing with and sprouts a horn from her mouth.

Let off some steam and vote for these!

I'll try out a couple of explanatory notes in hope that two reviews might join the joyous others votewise:

In Stardust, Robert De Niro plays Captain Shakespeare, who pilots a flying pirate ship. The rest of the review is self-explanatory, but I was reminded of the proposed "Romeo and Ethel the Pirate" title in Shakespeare in Love.

Meanwhile, across the pond in Be Kind Rewind, Mos Def and Jack Black create a homemade film about Fats Waller that resembles an old "talkie." Of course, the film is a local hit and saves the day.

And they all live happily ever after.

I'd appreciate suggestions for improving my pair of Eckhart reviews. I'm not happy with the second one.

You might need to provide some context; I don't know either film, or what you're aiming for.

It's actually given away about 20 minutes into the movie, plus it's was mentioned in all the reviews when the film came out.
So I'd say it's a little spoiler.
Still, sorry to all people out there who have never heard of the movie and didn't know this fact.
