I know one of these is apparently a very overused pun, but it's the first one I've done!

(Just in case of the unlikely event that anyone hasn't seen it already...)

*Spoiler for Braveheart (3rd review)* - being 'gutted' is slang for being really disappointed.

Spellbound is a documentary about a spelling bee.

Good round so far, but I guess people don't know that the original name for New York was New Amsterdam or that DiCaprio's character in Gangs of New York was called Amsterdam. Or perhaps its because not many people associate the word "becoming" with its other definition which is "to be appropriate or suitable".

I think maybe the problem with this review is that it's just too damn clever!

It got a vote from me though

Yes, I guess sometimes I am too clever for my own good. No matter - thanks for the vote (and who ever else finally got it, as well).

See ya'll tomorrow for the 2nd round of 2009!

Voted.

Underappreciated reviews this round include Sludge's for Creating the LOTR Symphony and Cankle's for Black Christmas (5/5 for Cankle, too). And, Salopian, your W. review is great!

Thanks for the mention, [matt].
